GOFFSTOWN - Rachel A. Tirrell, 92, went to be with the Lord on June 5, 2014, following a period of declining health.Born in Alexandria, she was the daughter of Frank and Amy (Bucklin) Bacheler. She was married in June of 1943 to Charles E. Tirrell, who predeceased her in 1988.She had resided in Goffstown for most of her life prior to moving to Litchfield to live with her son and his family. Rachel was a devoted member of Weare Bible Baptist Church. She took great joy in corresponding with members of her church to check on their well-being and spread the word of the Lord.Mrs. Tirrell was a graduate of Hesser Business College.Members of her family include three sons and their spouses, Martin and Diane Tirrell of Lisbon, Dean and Sue Tirrell of Henniker, Steve and Debra Tirrell of Litchfield; also six grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
