WINDHAM - Mr. Edmund "Eddie" Perron, a resident of Windham for the past 10 years, died Friday, June 20, 2014, at the age of 86.Born in Concord on Nov. 23, 1927, Eddie was the son of Alfred and Florida (Begin) Perron.In 1947 at 18, he enlisted in the U.S. Army and served during World War II. Later he worked for the State of N.H. Department of Resources and Economic Development and the N.H. State Parks, where he spent 36 years, retiring as foreman.He and his wife enjoyed years living in Sebastian, Fla., before they returned to live in New Hampshire permanently. In 2010 Eddie's wife of 60 years, Geraldine "Gerry" (Brouillette) Perron passed away.Mr. Perron is survived by two children, David Perron and his wife Patti of Windham and Pamela Verbicky of Strafford; seven grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.


SERVICES: Calling hours are Wednesday from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Petit Funeral Home, 167 Main St. in Pembroke.
