Jasmine Rose Marston

Newmarket - Jasmine Rose Marston, 22, of Newmarket, died Saturday, June 17, 2017 from injuries sustained in an automobile accident in Brentwood.

She was born in Longmont, Colorado on February 4, 1995 and was raised in Brentwood. She attended Cooperative Middle School in Stratham, and graduated from Great Bay E Learning Charter School, in Exeter, with the Class of 2013.

Jasmine enjoyed her jobs with Meandering Path Landscaping and Las Olas Taqueria, both in Exeter. She had a passion for music, concerts, festivals and gardening. She was an activist for animal rights and driving safety. While in high school, she directed an award-winning seatbelt awareness film that is still being used in schools throughout the world. Jasmine was a much beloved friend to many because of her love of fun, compassion for others and ability not to take herself too seriously!

She leaves her mother April Rose Marston and her partner Keith Metcalfe of Exeter; father, Grant Johnson of Longmont, Colorado; maternal grandfather, Floyd Marston of Exeter, sister, Zayna Rose Marston of Exeter; brother, Joseph Prisby of Bradford, Massachusetts; her beloved nephew, Shawn Perkins, Jr; uncles Edward and Floyd Marston, Jr.; and several aunts, uncles and cousins. Additionally, she leaves her roommates Emma Stone and Alisha Levasseur, along with many dear friends including Melanie MacDonald and Meghan McPartland.

She was predeceased by her maternal grandmother, Alice (Welch) Marston.

Visiting hours will be from 5-8 P.M. Wednesday, June 21, 2017 at the Remick & Gendron Funeral Home-Crematory, 811 Lafayette Road, Hampton. Services will be held at 11 A.M. Thursday in the funeral home. Burial will follow in the Hillside Cemetery, Seabrook. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited.
