BEDFORD -- Harry "Chip" M. Shooshan III, 62, formerly of Potomac, Md., died July 19, 2009, after a long illness.

He was born in Wilmington, Del., son of Harry and Harriet Gregg Shooshan. He graduated with honors from Harvard University, earned his J.D. from Georgetown University and was a leading attorney/communications consultant.

Mr. Shooshan enjoyed music, coaching soccer and was an avid sports fan.

The family includes his loving wife of 13 years, Alyssa Hamilton Shooshan of Bedford. He was the devoted father of Noelle Healy, Kimberly Barton and Kate Shooshan; and the proud grandfather of Caroline Rose Cedeno, and Jackson and Logan Barton.

He is also survived by his sister, Deborah Powell-Milley of Massachusetts; a brother, John Gregg Shooshan of Maryland; and many family and friends.

SERVICES: A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. Friday in the Bedford Presbyterian Church, 4 Church Road, Bedford.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the Amyloid Treatment and Research Program, 72 East Concord St., K-5, Boston, Mass. 02118.
