Dear Beth, Abby, and Ben,
We at Viking welding want to express our sympathy for the loss of Ken. There will always be a soft spot in our heart for him. As an employee he was truly loyal and honest and a dilligent worker. He will be missed by everyone that he interacted with here. You can be very proud of him for the life he lived and knowing that you three always came first.

Oh Ken...you were such a dear friend at chorale. Your enthusiasm for music, your desire to continue to learn and grow from the repotire was a joy and delight. I will never forget the semester I sat right in front of you. I very quickly learned to tune my voice to yours in the bass section, as the richness and timbre of your voicewere beyond measure. The duets we performed in chorale live on in my memory. You will be missed my friend. Sorely and deeply missed.

Beth ~ you are one incredibly lucky person to have caught his heart and his soul. My deepest condolences for your loss. You and your family will be in my prayers.

Dear Beth, Abby, Ben, and Anne, We are all so saddened by your loss. Ken was such a friendly person who made one feel right at home. I don't think I'll sing another tv theme song without remembering how much fun we all had on halloween night. He was a great guy. I will miss him.

I am shocked and saddened to hear the news. I have such fond memories of Ken as well, especially the two summers we worked together in Brookline. His easygoingness, good nature and patience were ever-present. And his ability to always see the positive in any situation and to find the beauty in things that others could not see was a huge influence on me. And to this day, whenever I lift something heavy, I hear Ken say, "Let gravity be your friend." Take care, Ken. My thoughts are with your entire family.

I did not know Ken very well, but enjoyed our long chat at the holiday parade last year in Portsmouth. My son Logan played football with Ben this year and I have had numerous communications with Beth through PYF. I am so sorry for your loss hope you find comfort in the beautiful family he has left behind. God Bless.

I remain dumbfounded and saddened, and I offer my deepest condolences to his family and all who were close to him. In many ways, Ken was the friend and the man that I always strove to be. He will remain in my heart as an inspiration, role model, and a friend.
With apologies to ee cummings:

Ken was a man
grinned his grin
done his chores
laid him down

sleep well

We first met Ken when our son Tommy joined scouts in 2006. He was such a good Dad to Ben and all the boys in the troop... he was so kind and patient to everyone...always. Even to my younger son Mikey who marched next to him in the memorial day parade this past May. Between scouts and football I think I've seen him every weekend since we met him. Dan has even done some work with him at Viking Welding. So sorry for your loss Beth, Abby and Ben. He will be missed. We will miss the funeral but we will be thinking of you.

I will never forget him at the Boy Scout Hot Dog sale at Market Square Day...he chanted our menu to hundreds of people with pride, enthusiasm and an energy you wanted to bottle up. What a great impact he had on those boy's lives. He will be missed.

Last time I saw Ken, he "crashed" his shopping cart into mine at Market Basket, and we planned for my huband and I to get together with him and Beth. I don't know what else to say.

My prayers are with all of you...Ken was
"Best Man" at our wedding in 1986, he stood in front of Church with Lloyd for 15 minutes...because my limo was late...and Beth and I shared the pregnancies of our first children together...Abby and Travis. I am regretting losing touch over the years. May the memories of Ken always be with you and know that I will cherish my memories of him in my heart forever.
