BOW - Peter A. Kayros, 63, died July 22, 2011, at Concord Hospital after a long battle with cancer. He was born on May 15, 1948, in Nashua, the son of Stanley and May (Oparowske) Kayros. He grew up in Pelham and graduated from Nashua High School in 1966.

A veteran of the Vietnam War, he served in the U.S. Army from 1966 to 1970. He was a graduate of Hesser College in Manchester. After his service, he was employed by Continental Homes in Nashua.
For many years, he and his wife Kathy resided in Bow.
He had a great interest in history and geography and enjoyed traveling in Europe and Central America.
He is survived by his wife, Kathleen (Mehron) Kayros; sisters Gloria Strossenreuther of Redwater, Alberta, Barbara Boucher of Pelham, and Theresa Altsher of Hampstead; nieces and nephews.
SERVICES: Private services were held at the Bennett Funeral Home.
