MANCHESTER - Edmond M. Cote, 81, died in Manchester on Oct. 23, 2012, following a brief illness.

He was born Jan. 6, 1931, in Manchester to Henry Cote and Marie (Caron) Cote and had been a lifelong resident of Manchester.

Prior to his retirement he was employed at New England Telephone/Verizon for over 22 years. He also served in and retired from the U.S. Navy and U.S. Coast Guard after 20-plus years of service.

He had several hobbies, including collecting guns, attending shoots at firing ranges and gun clubs and enjoying long drives.

He was a loving and caring father.

His family included two daughters and two sons, Susanne Egan of Wilton, William Cote of Manchester, Cheryl Davie of Manchester and Richard Cote of Boscawen. He had nine grandchildren, four great grandchildren. He had five brothers, Albert Cote of Manchester, Alfred Cote of Manchester, Donald Cote of Jacksonville, Fla. (deceased), Ernest Cote of Manchester and Lucien Cote of Manchester.


services:There were no services and no calling hours.

Burial followed on Oct. 25, at N.H. Veterans Cemetery, Boscawen, with military honors.
