Lucie was born in Boston, on Sept. 11, 1915, daughter of the late William and Edna (Shedden) Harrow.

Prior to her retirement, Lucie was employed for many years at New England Telephone Company, where she worked as a supervisor. She resided in Winchester and Woburn before moving to New Hampshire to be near her family.
