CANDIA - Carol A. Foster, 72, of Candia died Jan. 29, 2013, at the Community Hospice House in Merrimack.

She was born in Manchester, on July 31, 1940, the daughter of the late George and Mary (Piotrowski) Gingras. Carol grew up in Candia and graduated from Central High School in Manchester. She was a lifelong resident of Candia.

Mrs. Foster worked at Amoskeag Bank for 25 years and most recently worked at API of New Hampshire for 14 years.

Carol loved spending time with her family and friends. She also enjoyed a good game of bingo.

Family members include her sister, Ruth Cole of Raymond; niece, Nancy Brown of Raymond; two nephews, Norman Cole of Raymond and Thomas Cole of Candia; grandnephew, Camden Brown; two grandnieces, Ashlyn Brown and Alexandra Cole and her aunt, Irene Pinard of Goffstown. Mrs. Foster was predeceased by her husband of 52 years, Ronald J. Foster, who died July 1, 2012.


SERVICES: A memorial gathering will be held on Wednesday, Feb. 6, from 10 to 11 a.m. at the Phaneuf Funeral Home, 243 Hanover St., Manchester. A memorial service will follow in the funeral home chapel at 11 a.m. The Reverend Dennis Gingras will officiate the service. In lieu of flowers, donations in Carol's memory can be made to Community Hospice House, 210 Naticook Road, Merrimack, 03054.
