ALLENSTOWN - Pauline (Coll) Adinolfo, 81, a longtime resident of Allenstown, died with loving family by her side on Saturday, Feb. 16, 2013, at Harris Hill Health Care Center in Concord.
The Guest Book is expired.
Born on May 8, 1931, Pauline was the daughter of Wilfred and Jeannette (Stokes) Coll. She was raised in Suncook and after graduating from high school worked as a bookkeeper for the Suncook Bank until her marriage in 1956 to Joseph Adinolfo. The couple spent their married life and started their family in Middletown, Conn., and after Mr. Adinolfo's death in 1969, Pauline returned to her New Hampshire home. She was employed as a bookkeeper for the town of Allenstown, retiring in 1993 after 22 years of service. She also spent time working for Royal Caterers.
She was a communicant of St. John the Baptist Church and a life member of the Ladies of Ste. Anne and the Ste. Therese Rosebush Society.
For fun Pauline liked word puzzles, card games and bingo. She doted on her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, calling them the "light of her life."
Her family includes four children and their spouses, Ronald Adinolfo and Diane, William Adinolfo and Christine, James Adinolfo and Debbie, and Marie York and Kerry. She leaves her precious grandchildren, Jonathan, Bonnie, Nicole, Joshua, Katelyn, Marcia, Tim, and Brian and great-grandchildren, Aidan and Avery. Her only sister, Sr. Claire Coll, CSC, also survives her.
SERVICES: Calling hours are Tuesday, Feb. 19, from 4 to 8 p.m. at the Petit Funeral Home, 167 Main St., Pembroke. Members of the Ladies of Ste. Anne and the Ste. Therese Rosebush will meet at the funeral home at 4:30 p.m. for a prayer service. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Wednesday, February 20, at 10 a.m. at St. John the Baptist Church in Allenstown. Spring burial will be in St. John the Baptist Cemetery.
Mrs. Adinolfo's family wish to send a special thank you to her "Harris Hill family." They are most pleased by and grateful for the outstanding attention, care, and love shown to their mother while she lived there. Therefore, in lieu of flowers, memorial donations should be made to the Harris Hill Residents' Council, 20 Maitland Street, Concord, NH 03301.
