GOFFSTOWN - Lloyd A. Davis, 87, passed away unexpectedly Feb. 21, 2013, after a period of declining health.Born April 6, 1925, he was a life-long resident of Goffstown. He was the son of Waldo and Beatrice (Pattee) Davis. He graduated from Goffstown High School in 1943 and served from 1943 to 1946 in the Seabees. He married June Hadley on Sept. 16, 1946, and worked at Kendall-Hadley Sash & Blind most of his career. He was also a volunteer on the Goffstown Fire Department for 32 years.

Lloyd was predeceased by his wife June, who passed away in 2000 after 54 years of marriage. He is survived by his daughter, Lorraine Lauriat and her husband, Russ, of Goffstown, and two grandchildren, Lori Williams and her husband, Richard, of Weare, and Jeremiah Lauriat of Goffstown. Lloyd is also survived by two great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren and a cousin, Betty (Martin) Connor.

services: Visitation will be held Tuesday from 10 to 11 a.m. at French and Rising Funeral Home 17 South Mast St. Funeral services will follow at 11 a.m. in the funeral home. Spring burial will be in Westlawn Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations made be made to the Goffstown Fire & Rescue Association, 18 Church St., Goffstown.
