WEARE - Pearl (Howson) Anderson, 97, of Weare passed away March 30, 2013, after a period of declining health.

She was born in Pawtucket, R.I., and lived in Seekonk, Mass., for most of her life before spending her final years living with family in New Hampshire. She was the wife of the late Clarence Anderson and the daughter of William and Ellen Ann (Middlebrook) Howson. She was predeceased by a brother Lawrence (Sonny) Howson of Seekonk. She was a graduate of Pawtucket High School and the Katherine Gibbs School. In her early years she worked as a supervisor in the credit office of the Pawtucket Mutual Insurance Co. She left work to raise her family. Later she was employed as a supervisor in the audit department of the Shepard Co., retiring when the store closed. She volunteered for many years at the Performing Arts Center and Veterans Auditorium in Providence. She was a former member of Hamilton House. She will always be remembered for her caring heart for others and the vitality for life she showed well into her 90s. She is survived by two sons Richard and William, both of New Hampshire, six grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
SERVICES: Calling hours will be held Thursday from 6 to 8 p.m. at the French and Rising Funeral Home, 17 South Mast St., Goffstown. Funeral services will be at William W. Tripp Funeral Home 1008 Newport Ave Pawtucket, R.I. on Saturday at 11 a.m. followed by interment at Highland Memorial Park in Johnston R.I.
