Kris Jacobson Obituary
He was born on Aug. 3, 1960, in Winchester, Mass., a son of Nicholas Jacobson and the late Virginia (Moran) Jacobson.
Kris was employed as a first-class lineman for New Hampshire Electric Cooperative and was a member of the I.B.E.W. Local 1837. Prior to his employment with the Co-op, he worked for JCR Construction Company in Raymond. He was an avid hunter and fisherman who loved family, his job as a first-class lineman and the great outdoors. He found his passion in hunting and was happiest in the woods. Kris was also an expert trap shooter and had won many awards. He was a friend to all who knew him and will be sadly missed.
In addition to his father and stepmother, Nicholas and Patricia Jacobson of Sharon, he is survived by his wife, Barbara (Baker) Podesta Jacobson of Auburn; two stepsons, Derek N. Podesta and Michael T. Podesta; two grandchildren, Hayden and Peyton Podesta; one stepbrother, Albert Mosley of Hooksett; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, David and Lucie Baker of Laguna Niguel, Calif., Debbie Gates of Chester, Joanie Palmer of Keene, Margaret Mullarky of Calle Caminata, Calif., and Amy and Tim Cronin of Japan; as well as several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his mother, Virginia Jacobson, and his sister, Carla Pelletier.

services: Following cremation, memorial calling hours will be held on Friday, Oct. 11, from 4 to 8 p.m. in the Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 15 Birch St., Derry. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, Oct. 12, at 11 a.m. in the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the N.H. Humane Society in memory of "Jake," P.O. Box 572, Laconia 03247 or the N.H. Trappers Association, c/o Steve "Lefty" Schlangen, 22 Hillside Drive, Raymond 03077.

I have great memories of Kris and the old JCR crew. Kris always kept everyone laughing and on their toes. My condolences to his family and wife during this time of sorrow. Take comfort in knowing that now you have a special guardian angel to watch over you.
