Stark - Armand J. Brassard of Paris Road, Stark, passed away suddenly Friday, March 14, 2014, at Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center in Lebanon. He was 68.Born on Sept. 27, 1945, in Berlin, he was the son of Phillip and Germaine (Audet) Brassard.Armand attended Notre Dame High School and was a graduate of Berlin High School.Following high school, he enlisted and served in the U.S. Army from 1963 to 1966 as a machinist in Vietnam.Returning from Vietnam, he attended University of New Hampshire and earned a degree in forestry. He then was employed at the Brown Company and retired after 35 years of service.He was a communicant of St. Joseph Church, now St. Anne Church of Good Shepherd Parish in Berlin.His pastimes included hunting, fishing and woodworking.Besides his parents, he is predeceased by a stepson, Kevin McCarthy.He leaves his wife of 30 years, Angela J. (Boewe) Brassard of Stark; two sons, Michael Brassard of Atkinson and Marc Brassard of Stark; a daughter, Monique Hand, and husband Jamie of Groveton; a grandson, Cody McCarthy of Stark; two brothers, Maurice Brassard of Bellflower, Calif., and the Rev. Leo P. Brassard of Worcester, Mass.; two sisters, Emily Labrecque of Plainville Conn., and Annette Johnson of Knoxville Ill; and several nieces, nephews and cousins..

SERVICES: A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Tuesday, March 18, at St. Anne Church of Good Shepherd Parish in Berlin.Calling hours will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, March 17, at Fleury-Patry Funeral Home, 72 High St., Berlin.
