I'm very sorry to hear of Bill's passing. He was such a nice man, so welcoming to us when we moved across Pollard Road from him. We really enjoyed chatting with him during our many weekends in Lincoln. I used to like watching him cross-country ski around his own large property, not very long ago. He was always there with a friendly wave and smile.
Just one slightly funny story: a couple of years ago, we invited Bill for dinner with other friends, but he forgot and went to the Gypsy Cafe to eat instead. We got a bit worried about him when he didn't show up, and "tracked him down" through Karin. Bill later showed up at our house and proceeded to eat a complete second dinner and enjoy the rest of the evening.
We will miss him.

Karin and Family,
What sad news of the passing of your Father. I adored your father and think of him often as the advice he gave and the wisdom he imparted to me is still useful and vital to this day. He was a man of great honor, energy and passion. Your parents opened their home to me, literally, and I have never forgotten their generosity. He will be missed by so many near and far. You all remain in my prayers and your parents will always remain in my wonderful memories.

Amazing amazing man. Bill will be missed by many and I will miss his incredible wit and humor.
It was always a pleasure to wait on Bill while working at the Gypsy Cafe and just a few weeks ago while I was waiting on him, I brought something he ordered to the table and with this straight face and stern voice he told me "HE DID NOT ORDER THAT".. I was stunned and apologetic and felt soo bad. Then with the smirk on his face and his wonderful laugh... I realized he got me good. He always was a joker and finally got me the best that day!!! He will be missed. Thoughts to the family... Tracy S
