KINGSTON - Ruth E. Bragg, 97, died Sunday, March 13, 2016 at her home in Kingston, NH.
She was born April 7, 1918 in Newbury, MA., daughter of the late Arthur L. Cunningham and Ella S. (Noyes) Cunningham.
Ruth graduated from Newburyport High School, Class of 1936 and the Beverly Hospital School of Nursing, Class of 1939.She was employed for many years at the Beverly Hospital working as a registered nurse. Ruth had been a longtime resident of Kingston, NH.
She was an active longtime member and deacon of the First Congregational Church of Kingston, member of the Beverly Hospital School of Nursing Alumnae, the Essex Agricultural Society, the Sons and Daughters of the First Settlers of Newbury, MA. and she volunteered at the Topsfield Fair.
Ruth was predeceased by two husbands, Joseph H. Lynch, who died in 1968, and Nelson E. Bragg, who died in 1978, and a brother, Richard Cunningham.
She is survived by two sons, Jack Crowell of Bend, OR. and David Crowell of Epping, NH, 4 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
SERVICES: A memorial service will be held on Saturday, April 2, 2016 at 11:00 AM at the First Congregational Church of Kingston, NH. Burial will be in Central Cemetery, Beverly, MA.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to the First Congregational Church of Kingston, PO Box 203, Kingston, NH 03848.

What a beautiful soul we lost, I am so sad to read of Ruths passing.
I will always have beautiful memories of preparing the church bake table for the the Christmas fair.
An entire day of baking pies and treats with Ruth and my mother every year was always looked forward to by my sisters and myself!
