MARYSVILLE – Janice Marcella Mabry, 80, of Marysville, died Friday, June 13, at her home surrounded by her loving family following a brief illness.
She was a person of faith, which was reflected in the pride she held in her extensive collection of angels. She was extremely close to her mother, sister and daughter, enjoying their many shopping trips together and was always ready to just stop and visit with the people she would meet.
Janice was born July 5, 1933, in Urbana to the late Isaac and Naomi Spellman Grove. She was also preceded in death by her step-father, Orville Boldman, and a sister, Wilma Brammer. She married J. Roger Mabry on August 30, 1951, in Urbana.
She is survived by her husband of 62 years, Roger; a daughter, Marcie J. (Keith) Inskeep of Marysville; sons R. Kevin (Nancy) Mabry of Marysville, Victor R. Mabry of Milford Center, and Tracy S. (Sherry) Mabry of Marysville; 6 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; siblings Sue (Don) Randall of Urbana and Douglas (Doris) Boldman of Leesburg, FL; and many nieces, nephews and beloved friends.
Calling hours will be 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Tuesday at the INGRAM FUNERAL HOME, 975 N Maple St., Marysville, where funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday with the Rev. Steve Wood officiating. Burial will follow at Milford Center Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made in Janice's memory to Loving Care Hospice in care of the funeral home.
