SPRINGFIELD – John P. "Troy" Crowe, 48, of Springfield passed away Sunday, June 15, 2014, at Ohio State University Medical Center. He was born December 31, 1965, in Springfield, the son of Barbara Ann Crowe. A member of the Teamsters Union, Troy worked as a press operator for Orbis in Urbana. He enjoyed the Ohio State Buckeyes, Pittsburgh Steelers, and North Carolina Tar Heels. He loved his Impala and enjoyed going to car shows. Survivors include his love of sixteen years and wife of almost three, Annette Marshall-Crowe; step-daughter, Sarah Smile Schneider; brother, Tony Crowe of Florida; numerous step-brothers and step-sisters; father and mother-in-law, Richard "Bruce" and Gertie Marshall, Jr.; sisters-in-law, Melissa Anderson (Kyle), April Marshall, and Rachel Marshall (Drew); and several nieces, nephews and friends. He was preceded in death by his mother; grandparents, Thurman and Zelma Crowe; and one aunt. Troy didn't know a stranger. He enjoyed spending time at BW3's and other places with his many good friends. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday in the JONES-KENNEY-ZECHMAN FUNERAL HOME. Friends may visit with the family for two hours prior to the service. Burial will follow in Ferncliff Cemetery.
