URBANA - Everett C. Robertson, Jr., 86, of Urbana, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, September 30, 2018 in his home surrounded by his family.
He was born March 18, 1932 in Portsmouth, Ohio, the son of Everett C. and Della Lois (Duncan) Robertson, Sr. Everett earned his Bachelor of Theology degree from Trevecca Nazarene University and served his community as a Nazarene Pastor for many years. He also worked as a social services counselor at Southern Ohio Correctional Facility and was passionate about his mission work. Everett enjoyed hunting, fishing, and pocket knife collecting in his free time, was an avid reader, and liked working with his hands to build anything construction-related. He also enjoyed watching University of Kentucky Basketball and the Ohio State University Football games.
Everett is survived by his wife of 31 years, Truedene (Caudill) Robertson; his children, Brenda Kay (John) Shelton of Nashville, TN, Joell Ann (David) Dillow of Unionville Center, OH, and Anthony Lenn (Cathy) Tackett of Lucasville, OH; his 5 grandchildren, Ryan (Marlena) Shelton, Leslie (Randy) Powers, Cassidy Tackett, Cameron Dillow and Garrett Dillow; his 4 great-grandchildren, Makenzie Powers, Brayden Shelton, Declan Shelton, and Kennedy Powers; as well as his 6 nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Carlisle E. Rife.
A gathering of family and friends will be held 4-8 p.m. on Tuesday, October 2, 2018 in the Urbana Church of the Nazarene, 1999 E. St. Rt. 29, Urbana, Ohio 43078. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. and friends may call 1 hour prior to the service on Wednesday, October 3, 2018 in the church with Pastor Larry Hall officiating. Burial will follow in Oak Dale Cemetery, Urbana.
Services are entrusted to VERNON FUNERAL HOME, Urbana.
Memorial contributions may be made to Urbana Church of the Nazarene 1999 E. St. Rt. 29, Urbana, Ohio 43078 or to Hospice of the Miami Valley, 1948 N. Limestone St., Springfield, OH 45503.

I am so proud to have met cousin Everett for the first time during last years kehoe cemetery reunion. My grandfather Arch Lewis Robertson was a brother to his father. He now stands in attendance with the great father in heaven. My prayers go out to his family

Great uncle junior I had not seen you since Carlisle passed away, your are a beautiful christian, one of my favorite pictures is of you with your parents and Carlisle and Eunice standing on Kehoe Bridge you were about ten, I know you are once again a child in heaven, love you see you on the other side
