Victoria M. Windover WATERVILLE Victoria M. Windover , 79, of State Route 12, passed away Sunday, April 13, 2014, at Faxton-St. Luke's Healthcare, New Hartford. She was born January 21, 1935, in Ogdensburg, NY, the daughter of Richard and Irene Brothers Newtown, and received her education in Sauquoit schools. On January 4, 1957, Victoria married Edward C. Windover in Bridgewater. A Waterville area resident most of her life, she had worked as a nurse's aide at the Harding Nursing Home and had also worked at the Waterville Knitting Mill. She enjoyed several hobbies, including quilting, sewing, gardening. and she especially loved needlepoint. Victoria was a communicant of St. Bernard's Church in Waterville for 45 years. Surviving are her husband, Edward; her children, Carmen and Darlene Newtown, of Marcy, Molly and Billy Richardson-Roberson, of North Utica, Genevieve Windover, of Waterville, Edward, Jr., and Jean Windover, of Cedarville, and Nancy and Andy Pavilka, of Rome; fourteen grandchildren; and many great-grandchildren. A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m., Saturday, April 19, 2014, from St. Bernard's Church, 199 Stafford Ave., Waterville. Interment will be private in St. Bernard's Cemetery at a later date. Friends are invited to call at the Kloster & Northrop Memorial Chapel in the Burgess & Tedesco Funeral Home, 210 E. Main St., Waterville, on Friday (today) from 4-7 p.m. Victoria's family wishes to thank Drs.
