Jeni Gay Flock, 44, of Atlanta, GA, passed away unexpectedly Wednesday, March 19, 2014. She was born September 6, 1969, was a graduate of Westmoreland High School and spent summers at Big Moose Lake, NY. Jeni settled in Atlanta, GA, where she attended Spelman College and worked for Marriott Hotels and the Coca Cola Company. Jeni spent many hours volunteering and caring for the homeless and enjoyed time with her dog, "Gracie". Surviving are her mother, Grace, of New Hartford, NY; her brothers, Gibs (Candy) and nephews, Geoffrey and Adam, of East Syracuse, NY, and Greg, of Kirkville, NY. Jeni was predeceased by her father, Gilbert. She also leaves behind her uncle, Howard Quimby, of Big Moose, NY; cousins, Bill (Kim), of Clayton, NY, Peter (Laurie), of Byfield, MA, and Michael (Jennifer), of Bemus Point, NY; and many close friends and acquaintances. A memorial service will be held at 1:00 p.m. at Niccolls Church in Old Forge, NY, on May 31st. Contributions in Jeni's memory can be made to Hope House, PO Box 161, Utica, NY 13501.
