David C. Redline
New York Mills/ Remsen
David C. Redline, 47, of Clinton St. New York Mills passed away on December 2, 2010 at Faxton-St. Lukes Hospital after a short illness. He was born in Utica on November 16, 1963, a son of Dr. Wayne and Mary Luther Redline. David grew up in Remsen, graduating from Remsen High School in 1981, and graduated from Utica College where he received his Bachelors degree in accounting. He worked at Price Water House Accounting Firm, Syracuse, Great American Stores (Penn Traffic Co.), Syracuse, and currently the Holiday Inn, New Hartford, where he has been over ten years. David enjoyed bicycling, basketball and other sports. He is survived by his mother, Mary Redline, Remsen; four brothers and sisters-in-law, Raymond and Susan Redline, Shaker Heights, Ohio, Neil Redline, Remsen, Mark and Diane Redline, Malden, Massachusetts, Andrew Redline, Lancaster, PA; aunt and uncle, Richard and Claire Van Nierop; uncle, Jack Luther; nieces and nephews, Julie and Brian, Harry and Margie. He was predeceased by his father, Dr. Wayne Redline on May 13, 1991. A funeral service will be held at 10 AM on Monday, December 6, 2010 at the Ackley-MillsFuneral Home, 9597 Main Street, Remsen. Calling hours are Sunday (today) from 3-5 PM at the funeral home. Interment in Fairchild Cemetery, Remsen. In lieu of flowers contributions can be made to Hope House of Utica 130 Eagle Street, Utica, NY 13501. In My Pocket

I have memories in my pocket.
They rattle among the change.

My memories of you are treasures I carry wherever I go.

They are stored in bits and pieces, parts of a beautiful whole
They give me comfort when I think I am alone.

Yes, I have memories in my pocket, like so much other stuff I keep there.
