In 1983, he was honored with the prestigious award of New York State Office of Mental Health Employee of the Year. Frank was an avid softball player and bowler in the Central New York area. He had a 'Heart of a Champion' with a passion to play and pursue his love of sports throughout his life. He was a proud follower of Rome Catholic High School sports when his children attended. During his retirement years, Frank enjoyed traveling to visit children and grandchildren, perfecting his golf game, horse racing, walking the beach, enjoying a good cheeseburger, baseball games and trips to the casino with his loving companion, Irene. His truest of love and devotion were to his grandchildren, Bryan, Steven, Michael, Andrew, Corey, Michelle, Joseph and Nicholas. He loved them dearly and enjoyed watching them participate in a variety of sporting and school events. Frank was an authentic, genuine man with a strong commitment to his family and love of life.
