May the Lord bless you and keep you.
May the Lord make his face to shine upon you,
and be gracious to you.
May the Lord lift up his countenance upon you,
and give you peace.

Jake inspired and lead lots of fun for North Brookfield kids when we were 'Bush Leaguers' in the 1960s. A kind and gentle coach who instilled the value of team playing in many of us, you'll always be remembered. Since back then, girls didn't 'play', Jake taught me to keep score. I'm sure Jake was responsible for my love of baseball. I married a catcher, became a Mets fan, and think back to those wonderful days fondly and often. Thank you, Jake!
