John E. Fadrowski, 78, of Whitesboro, passed away October 4, 2013, at home with his family at his side. He was born November 20, 1934, in Mount Carmel, PA, the son of John B. and Esoline Borga Fadrowski. John was a United States Air Force veteran, having served from 1952-1956, with the 1110th Air Support Group, HEDCOM. Mr. Fadrowski earned his BS, Electrical Engineering, from The Pennsylvania State University in 1961; and Master of Business Administration, from Rensslaer Polytechnic Institute in 1979. On February 16, 1963, John married Joanne Miles, in Utica, NY, a blessed union of 50 years. A Certified Quality Engineer (ASQC); John loved his career of 32 years with General Electric and made significant contributions in the aerospace business as an Engineer and Manager in Manufacturing and Quality Assurance positions. He retired in 1993. John was a member of American Society for Quality Control, committee chairman and officer; General Electric Elfuns, officer and chairmanships, and Whitestown Zoning Board of Appeals. He was a member of St. Pauls Church, Whitesboro. John was a lifelong fan of Penn State Football; enjoyed Bridge with his best buddies; fishing, shuffleboard and especially, yearly vacations with his family. He is survived by his wife, Joanne, a devoted caretaker throughout his illness; daughters, Christine Fadrowski, Holland Patent, and Charlene Craig and husband Jim, Doylestown, PA; son, Dr. Jeff Fadrowski, Baltimore, MD; three precious granddaughters, Taylor Clara Fadrowski, Genevieve Elizabeth and Grace Emilee Craig; sister, Catherine Bankes and family, CA; brother, Joseph Fadrowski and family, PA; special sisters-in-law, Jackie Eberley and Pam Miles; special brothers-in-law, George Eberley and John Miles; and many caring nieces, nephews, cousins and special friends and neighbors, including the Wilsons, Shepherds and Gossins, whose love and support cannot be measured. Johns greatest pleasure was talking about his children and granddaughters. He got tremendous enjoyment from seeing his family succeed and become loving individuals. Thank you to all of Johns medical team over the years and especially the amazing Hospice team over the past few weeks: Julie, Irene, Laurie, Ann, Nadine, Cheryl and Melissa. We would also like to thank his favorite nurse, Jackie Eberley. Funeral services will be Monday, 8:30 a. m. from Dimbleby, Friedel, Williams &Edmunds Funeral Home, Forty Main Street, Whitesboro, and 9:30 a. m. at St. Pauls Church, Whitesboro, where his Funeral Mass will be celebrated. Interment will be in Mount Olivet Cemetery. Calling hours are Sunday, from 2:00-5:00 p. m. Those desiring may consider memorials to Hospice & Palliative Care, Inc., or Camp All Stars at Johns Hopkins Childrens Center. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
