Joseph Argento Obituary
Tamarac, FL
Joseph Andrew Argento, 78, of Tamarac, FL, passed away on Thursday, December 30, 2010. Joe is survived by his wife of 46 years, Rosemarie; his four children, Teresa, Marco, Kathryn and Patricia; six grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. He is also survived by his sister, Angela Barletto; nephew, Peter Barletto; sister-in-law, Gloria Argento; nephew, Patrick Argento; nieces, Edna-Patsy and Grace; and several great-nephews and nieces. Joe was born in Utica, NY, to Pasquale and Theresa Argento. He served in the Army from 1948- 1950. He also served with the Utica Police Department from 1956 to 1976, where he retired as a detective. Joe moved his family to Sunrise, Florida, in 1976. Joe was an avid boxing fan and baseball enthusiast - he also loved to bet on the horses. Joe mostly loved spending time with family, dining and conversation. Joe will be missed and Loved.
