Barbara Reile Obituary

Barbara A. Reile
Clark Mills
Barbara A. Reile, 62, of Clark Mills, gave in to the Lords request to be by his side and share her exuberant compassion with others entering heaven during this Holy week. Her passing occurred at her home on April 1, 2010, after a courageous battle with carcinoma. Barbaras reluctant transition was made easier while in the care of her loving daughter, Jodie, who cared for her during her year long ordeal. Jodie was honored to be there for her mother during her battle and especially in her final moments. Barbara was born in Utica on February 2, 1948, the daughter of Frank and Mary (Neri) Raspante. She was blessed to be a daughter, a sister, an aunt, a mother, and a proud grandmother. Barbara will be forever remembered for her vibrance, beauty, resilience and friendship. Barbara is survived by her beloved daughters and sons-in-law, Jodie and Kristopher Zaborek (whom she loved as if he were her own son), and their son, Joey, the first born grandchild and Barbaras pride and joy, Ilion, Stacie L. Reile, Miami Beach, FL, Rebecca and John Young and their children, Wyatt and Jamison, who held a special place in Barbaras heart, Clayville; and her father, Frank Raspante. She is also survived by her extended family, including brothers, sisters, nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her mother, Mary, and by her eldest sister, Elizabeth. Relatives and friends are invited to join in the Celebration of Barbaras life at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, April 7, 2010, at St. Mary Mt. Carmel Church in Utica. Those wishing may offer their donations in care of Barbaras daughter, Jodie Zaborek, in her memory. Arrangements are entrusted to the Heintz Funeral Home, 10 East Park Row, Clinton. Our Loving Daughter and Sister Barbara;
Each day, Dad's heart is broken more than the day before, each day we have you in our heart, and we joke and laugh as we always did. We sit together daily, and reflect on the time we had you physically in our lives, now we reinforce eachother with you having to leave us. Our lives will never be the same...and only words of love - missing you -- and hoping you are now safe from pain and torment and are at last at peace. In our hearts you were, are, and forever will be. With you a piece of us went.
Dad and Brother, Frank

Barbara, there will never be any doubt in my mind of you sharing lovely music, vibrant joy, and painless laughter within the Angelic Realm now while being surrounded by Love Light Energies at this very moment. Although i only knew you a short time, there was an immediate friendship and love connection i felt for you and Jodie.
You will be missed very much here, but deep within our hearts we know that you are well.......and smiling!

God's Blessings to all family members. My sincere condolences, and apology for not being able to attend the memorial services.

My prayers are with you and your family during this difficult time. The pain is now unbearable and you wonder how you will go on, but remember the times that you shared and the laughs that you shared with your mom and soon you will realize that you are smiling and the pain ceases. Know in your hearts that you followed your mom's wishes. Her spirit is alive and well. God Bless all of you.

I worked with Barb at Par and remember and will always remember her humor and fun spirit. We had a lot of fun sitting at our soldering tables passing the days away. My heart hurts and I send my condolences to her family and friends.

Those we love don't go away,
They walk beside us every day,
Unseen, unheard, but always near,
Still loved, still missed and very dear.

Barb will be truly missed by everyone who knew her, no matter where they crossed her path in life.
With my deepest sympathy,

David Albrecht

You are not forgotten, loved one, nor will you ever be. As long as life and memories last we will remember thee. We miss you now, our hearts are sore. As time goes by we'll miss you more. Your loving smile, your gentle face, no one can fill your vacant place.

My beloved Barbara, my sister, my conficant, my love,as we spoke, always in my heart, mind and soul you will be. You are now in the arms of our mother of whom you asked, and are finally free of the torment you sustained. May GOD be watchful of the tender hands, the one's that "Truly" loved you, and those that could not reach you. Now, my beautiful sister, you are finally at peace
Your Brother Frank ...with whom you always confided. Our bond, even after death, will never be broken
