I am sorry to hear of Pat's death. I remember her at the beach, waterskiing with Sue Dodge and all of the bridge group ladies. My mom, Nancy Barber, made sure we were at ski beach every Tuesday in the summer. We had so much fun with all the ladies, but I remember mostly Pat's great sense of humor. She was so easy to talk to that I would spend time with the bridge group when they were at our house, talking with her. I know my mother enjoyed her company and will be sorry to hear of her passing. I look forward to seeing her again in the life everlasting.

I was so sorry to read of Mrs. Oberle's passing. When I think of her, I smile as she was always cracking jokes and making people laugh, well most of the time! She was a jewel and I know that this is a very sad time for all of you. I hold you all in my heart, thoughts and prayers. Lynn, Mom and Dad are together again! Ah....can't you hear them laughing? Sweet memories!

Pat was a treasure. She'll always be "Mrs. Oberle" to me. The things she put up with from all us "kids" as we grew up. Always willing to listen to what was going on on our lives. I will truly miss her.

Pat and I worked very closely together at Hoover High for six years in the ASB program (1981-87). During those exciting years, she was a favorite of the teenage students and extremely devoted to supporting their programs. Pat was sharp, creative, productive, and always interested in helping the high school leadership students be successful. Her mild sarcasm was always tempered with humor and goodwill. Honestly, without her personal involvement in student programs, a lot of high school kids would not have enjoyed the success and achievement they eventually earned through her daily support. We are all richer for having known Pat. Personally, I will remember her with great fondness always.

Pat Oberle ("Mrs. Oberle" to me all those years ago) helped me more than she would ever know. In the mid-60's, when I began to question everything about the Catholic dogma that had been drilled into me since birth, it was Pat who listened and counseled more than my parents and the priests ever could. She was patient and caring and honest and I will always be grateful to Pat for helping me stay on that path to finding faith.
To all of Pat's wonderful children, of whom I have such great memories, I am so sorry for your loss. I remember the laughter - always the laughter - and I hope you carry those memories, too.
Rest in peace, Pat. You will always remain strong in my heart.
