PETRUCCIO, ALBERT JAMES Albert James Petruccio, 56, of San Diego, passed away early Wednesday, December 26, 2012 after a courageous struggle against cancer. He was born to the late Julia Virginia and Albert Petruccio Sr., April 19, 1956, in Trenton, New Jersey. Albert graduated from Notre Dame Catholic High School in 1974 and received a BS in Electrical Engineering from the University of Dayton in Ohio. He then went on to earn an MBA at National University in 1992. He resided in San Diego for 32 years and during that time he met and married the love of his life, Charme Petruccio. He has been a San Diego resident for 32 years where he met and 16 years later married the love of his life, Charme Petruccio. Albert worked on the Tomahawk Cruise Missile project with McDonnell Douglas. He later went to work for SAIC for the last 19 years where he served as a security analyst, project manager and finally as a Division Manager for the Integrated Security System. He loved working for SAIC and made long lasting friendships during his tenure there. He took great pride in his work and was known by many as someone who always strived to make a difference at SAIC and in the lives of the people who worked for him. Albert loved spending time with his family, going on vacations, gardening, and playing with his extensive collection of antique trains and cars. Albert is survived by his loving wife, Charme Petruccio of San Diego and his step-son, Jordan Vessey of Aptos, California; he will be greatly missed them and by his aunts, uncles and cousins in New Jersey and his father-in-law, sister-in-law, brothers-in-law and nephews who all loved him dearly. Funeral and burial services will be held on January 4, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Francis Episcopal Church, 16608 Highway 76, Pauma Valley, CA 92061.
