Alfred Carr "A.C." Ackerson II

Ackerson II, Alfred Carr "A.C." 07/11/1930 ~ 02/03/2013 CARLSBAD -- A.C. was born in Washington D.C. to Carr and Zola Ackerson. He moved to San Marino, Calif., in 1939. He attended the Army Navy Academy in Carlsbad and served in the Air Force during the Korean War as an Aerial Photographer. After moving his family to Carlsbad in 1973, A.C. worked as a Real Estate Appraiser for over 20 years. He is survived by his daughters, Kristina (Michael) Dangelo of San Diego, and Kelly (Michael Kennedy) Ackerson of Vista; granddaughter, Olivia Dangelo; former wife and devoted caregiver, Norma Ackerson; and sister, Celia Johnston of Virginia. A.C. was a funny, outgoing, loving, devoted father, grandfather, husband and friend. He will be laid to rest at Miramar National Cemetery.
