Barbara Marie Voelpel

Voelpel, Barbara Marie VISTA -- Surrounded by the everlasting love of her family and friends, Barbara Marie Voelpel (nee Toth) sadly passed away on Sunday January 6, 2013 at the age of 77. She was the kind and wonderful mother and mother-in-law of Denise and Dale (deceased) Young, Gerald and Kathy Voelpel, Teresa (deceased) and Andrew Salamone, Douglas and Valerie Voelpel, Patricia and Dennis Lang, and Christine and Chris Stewart. She was the loving grandmother of Tracie, Stephanie, Aundraya, Torri, Michael, Aaron, Drew, Allie, D.J., Christopher, Nicholas, Levi, Riley; and great-grandmother of Anthony. She was the beloved sister and sister-in-law of Ronald and Nancy Toth and Stephen and Louise Toth. Her parents, Stephen and Marie Toth predeceased her. She is survived by many nephews, nieces, cousins, and friends. She is also survived by her tennis "buddies" from Brengle Terrace where she was an avid tennis player and organized and ran the Vista Women's Tennis Program as well as the Brengle Terrace Women's Tennis Team. She also worked as a Marketing Manager at Arco and BP, Office Manager at Merritt & Harris, Inc Construction Consultants, and S.C. Johnson and Sons. She was loved by all who knew her and will be greatly missed. Her positive attitude, uplifting spirit and love of the Lord made her an inspiration to her family and many friends. Grateful thanks to Pastor Nolan and Souls Harbor Church and Pastor Steve and Vista Assembly for their prayers and support. A Memorial Service will be held at Vista Assembly Church on Saturday, February 16 at 10:30 am.
