Beverley Jean Reiley(1954 - 2014)

Reiley, Beverley Jean SAN MARCOS -- Beverley Jean Reiley, 59, passed away on Monday, January 20, 2014. Never alone, Beverley passed peacefully at home surrounded by family and friends. She was born the youngest daughter to late Nathan Reiley and Beatrice Reiley in Kalamazoo, Michigan in 1954. Beverley moved to California with her family at the age of eight. She graduated from Monrovia High School in 1972 and later attended University of La Verne where she earned her Bachelor's Degree. Six years ago, Beverley's love of the beach moved her to San Diego where she could be close to family. Beverley was a Cost Estimator on various commercial transit projects, working for the MTA and Parson's for most of her career. She was an active member of her church, a member of the Rotary Club, her local garden club and volunteered crocheting baby blankets for Rady Children's Hospital. Beverley loved to travel and took trips to Spain, Italy and Portugal during her lifetime. Her spirit of adventure continued at home with learning to Stand-Up Paddle Board and kayaking. Beverley is survived by her only daughter, Erika and son-in-law, Tim; and two grandsons, Logan and Matthew. She is also survived by her sister, Linda; and her brother, Patrick. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, January 30th at 10 am in the Chapel of the Mission San Luis Rey in Oceanside. In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting donations be made in her name to to help find a cure for Breast Cancer.
