HELEN LOUISE KOCHER

KOCHER, HELEN LOUISE Louise passed away peacefully in El Cajon, CA surrounded by her family on November 22, 2012. A direct descendant of Louis Rubidoux, Louise was born March 8, 1926 in Calexico, CA to Jack and Mary Rubidoux. Sister to Eleanor, Albert & Gloria. She attended Calexico Grammar and graduated in 1945 from Calexico High. After graduation she worked as a dress clerk, then was employed by the US Immigration Services and the El Centro Police Dept. Her life changed in August 1950 when she met her soul-mate Martin E. Kocher. They married May 19, 1951. Louise had great pride and love for her family: daughter Laura and husband Paul Stephens, daughter Denise Kocher, daughter Rhetta and partner Dennis Holden, son Martin A. and wife Sandra Kocher, daughter Monique and husband James Ferrari. Grandchildren: Heather, Tanner, Megan, Corie, Nolan, Sierra, Brianna and great granddaughter Scarlett. She was an avid volunteer for the Registrar of Voters enjoyed crafts, sewing, traveling and antique shopping. Services will be held on Monday, Dec. 17, 2012, 10:00 a.m. at Holy Trinity Catholic Church, 405 Ballard St., El Cajon, CA 92019. Private interment ceremony at Fort Rosecrans National Cemetery.
