Cantor, Pamela Kaye SANTEE -- Pamela Kaye Cantor, beloved mother, wife, daughter, sister, aunt, niece, cousin, friend and teacher
passed away on December 24, 2013. In 2005 her courageous battle with breast cancer
began; she never gave up hope. She is survived by her beloved husband Matt, their son Derek, his daughter Michelle, her parents Hannelore and Monte Strickling and her brother Steven Strickling and his children Carter, Sarah and Caroline. She considered Derek the most precious gift in her life. She was born July 19, 1962 and graduated from Madison High School in 1980. She earned a degree in Communication from San Diego State University in 1987 and also her teaching credential in 1989. In 2013 she proudly finished her Masters Degree in Teaching. Pamela lived in Santee, CA and was a devoted school teacher for 23 years at Nicholas Valley Elementary and Temecula Elementary; she embraced her students with an open heart. Pamela loved animals, especially their yellow lab "Zack." She loved scrap booking, taking walks and bike rides, and doing her Pilates exercises. A celebration of life will be held on February 6th, 2014 at 11:00 am at St. Marks United Methodist Church, 3502 Clairemont Drive, San Diego, CA 92117.
