PAULINE "POLLY" SWIFT(1921-2012)

SWIFT, PAULINE "POLLY" July 3, 1921 to October 19, 2012 Pauline "Polly" Swift passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family on October 19th, 2012. Polly was born in Biry, Texas on July 3rd, 1921. In her early 20's she moved to San Diego to work for Western Union during World War II. At a USO dance, she met the love of her life Thomas S. Swift. They were married for 67 years. Polly was a loving mother, grandmother and friend to everyone. She is survived by her daughters Anna Mitchell (Mark) and Sharon Pecoraro (Frank), her four grandchildren John (Amy), Alison (Dan), Gina (Scott), Russell (Erin), and her three great-grandchildren Ryan, Grace and Chloe. Polly filled her life with cooking for her family, gardening, endless hours of volunteering, and quilting. She was a member of the North Park Doll Club for numerous years. Her passion for boating began at Koehler Kraft and continued on through the years with a family boat, the AnaPolLou. A memorial service will be held on Monday November 5th, 2012 at 10 a.m. at El Camino Mortuary followed by an interment and a celebration of life.
