QUIETT, ROBERT G. Feb. 25, 1929 to Dec. 24, 2012 Robert passed away after a long illness. Robert was born in Brooklyn, NY. His family moved to San Diego in 1936. He graduated from Hoover High School, Class of 1947, of which he was class president. He graduated from San Diego State University with a degree in Education. He taught school for two years. then was a distributor for 7-Up Company in the back country and desert of San Diego for 25 years. He was a truck driver for Handyman for 10 years, then for several years he drove cross-country. He loved being a truck driver. Robert was preceded in death by his parents Robert and Eunice Quiett and his son Steve, and ex-wife Lois. Robert is survived by his daughter Janice and brother William, his longtime companion Linda nd her children and the apple of Robert's eye, granddaughter Kenya. A Viewing will be held on January 2nd from 2 - 5 p.m. at Featheringill Mortuary. Graveside services on January 3rd at 11 a.m. at El Cajon Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, a donation in Robert's name may be made to Sharp Hospice.
