Robert John "Bob" DaSilva- McDonough

DaSilva- McDonough, Robert John "Bob" EL CAJON -- Bob, 61, was raised in El Cajon, Ca. He is survived by his siblings, brothers Pat McDonough, John, Jack, Joe and sister Pamela Draper. His children, sons Bob and Ronn McDonough and his daughters, Bibiana McDonough Althaus, Janel Da Silva and Stevie Da Silva-Hackworth. His grandchildren, Bobby Sue, Rylee, Lil' Bob, Chris, Reid, Creed, Cole, Ryder and Hunter along with his nieces and nephews. Bob joined the Tuna Fishing Industry in the early 70's as a commercial fisherman. He also completed driver's school and became a cross country truck driver. He worked for Rust and Sons trucking and loved going on long hauls with his cat "Kiki." He enjoyed traveling, boating, sports, riding his Harley, and most of all life. To know Bob was to love Bob. He was passionate and adored his family. He had an enormous amount of friends who he shared fun, laughs and happy times with. Bob loved spending time with his grandchildren and watching them play sports. His absence will affect all that knew him. We love you Bob, and your fond memories will live with us forever. A celebration of life will be held at El Monte Park on March 24th from noon until dusk.
