RONALD KEITH JOHNSON

iconJOHNSON, RONALD KEITH Jan. 21, 1937 to Nov. 21, 2012 Ron was 75 years old and was born in San Jose, California, the youngest of three children. He grew up in Salinas, California, and was a graduate of Salinas High School and Hartnell College. Ron moved to San Diego where he began work at Rohr Industries in Chula Vista. He served two years in the army after being drafted, then returned to Rohr, where he was employed for over twenty years and where he met his second wife, Patti. He was a technical writer in the Customer Support department. Ron and Patti retired in 1998 to a small ranch in Alpine, in East San Diego County. He loved having horses and living the rural lifestyle his grandparents had enjoyed in Central California. Ron is survived by his wife, Patti; his brother, Barrie, of King City, Calif.; and his step-daughter, Cathy Kniess, and her husband, John, of Chula Vista.
