Thomas Neal Thompson(1956 - 2013)

Thompson, Thomas Neal SAN DIEGO -- Thomas Neal Thompson, 57, died July 2, 2013 after battling lung cancer. He was born in Santa Monica February 19, 1956 to William and Marion (Villa) Thompson, graduating from Madison High School in 1974. Neal worked 38 years in the bread business with Fornaca Breads, Love's Bakery of HI, Bimbo Baking Co. of Escondido, and as Director of Club Sales for Milton's Baking Company in Carlsbad before retiring in December 2012. Neal was a man of character and integrity in every area of his life. He always had a positive attitude and warm smile. He played golf, drums, and attended sporting events. He was the model of a good friend, staying in touch with everyone. Neal was preceded in death in 2008 by his wife of 24 years, Kathie. Neal is survived by daughter Jennifer (Ron) Wilson of San Marcos, Amie (Victor) Albright of Mira Mesa, and Ryan Thompson of Vista; grandchildren Deegan and Kylie Albright and Trevor Neal Wilson were a special gift; brothers Robert (Maria) Thompson of Anaheim Hills and Patrick (Ada) Thompson of Poway; and numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. He was able to find a very special love and great joy with Sandy Smith of Clairemont during his last four years. Memorial services were held on July 10, 2013 in San Marcos with burial at San Marcos Cemetery. Donations may be made in his name to The .
