William Aaron Harrison

William Aaron Harrison ESCONDIDO -- William Harrison was born in St. Louis, Mo., on June 5, 1925. His family moved to Escondido in 1930. He passed away peacefully at Redwood Town Court on Sunday, September 30, 2012. He served in the Army Air during WWII and was shot down in a B-17 over Poland. He was a volunteer fireman in Escondido and drove the old truck on display at Station No. 1. He retired from Pacific Telephone after 35 years of service. William is survived by his two children, Jill Harrison of Chicago and William (J'lene) Harrison of Escondido. He has five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
