Beverly Ann Hamilton

Hamilton, Beverly Ann SAN DIEGO -- Beverly Ann Hamilton quietly passed away in her sleep on June 14th at the age of 82. She is survived by her five children, David, Corky, Walter, Kandi, and Sharon and her four grandchildren, Melanie, Brad, Victoria, and Matt. Born and raised in Coronado, Beverly married SK3 Emmett Hamilton in 1951. His navy career took them to Guam, Hawaii, Florida, South Carolina, and Washington before they retired to San Diego in 1972. Beverly joined the USO volunteer force in 1977, and 35 years later, she was the USO's longest tenured volunteer, twice named Volunteer of the year and presented with the Lifetime Achievement award. Services will be held at noon on Aug. 2, 2013 at Fort Rosecrans where she will be interred with her husband. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to the USO in her memory.
