ARTHUR FRANCIS GIDDINGS Obituary
iconGIDDINGS, ARTHUR FRANCIS May 28, 1933 to August 21, 2012 Arthur was born in Brooklyn, New York to parents Arthur and Anna Giddings. He served in the U.S. Marine Corps during the Korean War from 1952 to 1954 as an Electrical Technician. This led to a career as an Electrical Engineer. Arthur also held a Real Estate License and sold many homes in Arizona and California. He coached Pop Warner football and was an avid San Diego Chargers fan. He was part of the Big Brother Program and served in the Peace Corps in Africa. Arthur's passion in life was to dance and travel. He became a Ballroom Dance Instructor and traveled endless miles around the world teaching ballroom dancing on Cruise Ships. Arthur is survived by his three siblings, Thomas, Robert and James; two sons, Stephen and Michael; and two granchildren, Shawn and Meghan. Rest in peace Dad, we all love and miss you. Inurnment will be at Fort Rosecrans National Cemetery. Private Services will be held.
