Beverly Jeanne Bell Conte Obituary
Conte, Beverly Jeanne Bell SAN DIEGO -- Born on 10-13-1940, a native and lifetime resident of San Diego, went to be with the Lord on 5-15-2013. Daughter of John Bell and Marjorie Hart Bell, graduated from Hoover High School. She attended San Diego State and was a member of Kappa Delta sorority. She was active in many service organizations throughout her life, including the Salvation Army's Door of Hope Women's auxiliary where she served as President and was honored with the Woman of Excellence award. Beverly owned "That Special Event" planning and wedding consultation service for 30 years. She was a member of the Association of Bridal Consultants and past president. Active member of City View Church, she served on the board and enjoyed her involvement with a camping ministry for abused and neglected children. Her passion was traveling and cruises with her grandchildren. Survived by her spouse of 53 years. Alphonse Conte; son, Craig (Jeanne); daughter, Marcella Dickey (James); and five grandchildren, Connor, Ian, Kellie, Blake, and Kiera. Thank you to Dr. Kim, Dr. Ismail, Sandy, Annette and the caring staff at UCSD Medical Center. Memorial service will be held on May 24th at 11:00 a.m. at City View Church, 8404 Phyllis Place, San Diego.
