Graham Carl Smorzewski Obituary
Smorzewski, Graham Carl FALLBROOK -- Graham Smorzewski, 32, left his earthly body to soar to heaven on July 8, 2013. Graham was a warrior who fought heroically in his battle against cancer for over a year. Graham leaves behind his wife, Jennifer; and their 1 year old little girl Adele in body, but the love he had for them remains forever and will echo through eternity. Graham and his family moved into their new house last month across the street from the beach in Carlsbad which brought him much joy. Graham will be remembered for his love for life, patience, ability to smile through almost anything and an ability to bring out the best in everyone around him. That big smile and presence brought a light into every room he entered. Graham was a graduate of Fallbrook High School and California State University San Marcos where he graduated with a degree in History. Graham most recently worked at Bella Collina Country Club, San Clemente, Calif., where he was the Food & Beverage Director. He enjoyed his exciting job that supported his passion of wine and food and bringing people together. In addition to his wife and daughter, Graham is also survived by his parents, Pat and Gary Smorzewski; big brother, Greg (Carlsbad, Calif.); and little brother, Elliot (Fallbrook, Calif.); sister- in-law, Kelly; and nephews, Grayson and Fisher (Carlsbad); mother -in-law, Julie Flaherty (Oregon); father-in-law, Steve Meyers (Big Bear, Calif.), brother-in-law, Brian Meyers; and sister -in-law, Katie Meyers. Graham also leaves his extended family and so many special people in his life that were amazing role models and friends. Graham loved music and he has left us a very special gift which includes all his favorites on Spotify "Ultimate Playlist" by Graham Smorzewski, including one of his favorite songs "One Love" by Bob Marley. A celebration of life will be held at ShadowRidge Country Club, Vista, Calif., from 3 to 6pm, Friday, July 12th. In lieu of flowers, please show your support by donating to a fund that will be set up for Jenny and Adele.
