I have been really blessed by Jack's humor in the short time that I have known Jack. I am his second wife, Eleanor Jean's, cousin. Jack had a marvelous sense of humor. I looked forward to seeing him perform at CCT's Senior Follies, but his foot problems got in the way! We went to dinner and concerts together in El Cajon, but he did talk about his prowess on stage! We will miss his cheerful self!

Jack and I were fellow Toastmasters together many years ago. We shared a love for sports and we drove to LA several times to see the Dodgers. This was before we had the Padres. I have not seen Jack for many years but I remember what a great family man he was. Jack and Jo and my former wife, Evelyn, particapated in several musicals for the Pacific Beach Toastmasters. Some of you might remember our rehearsals at your house. Evelyn died ten years ago and I am now married to Patricia who I could not do without. I fully understand why Jack found a companion after Jo died. It is hard to be alone when you have had a lifetime of love. I am sorry I did not keep a closer contact with Jack these many years but I often thought about him. He was one of a kind.

~Missing you so much Grandpa~. Your wit, sense of humor, constant entertainment, TV's, sport bets, BEER, hugs and your loving laugh!
I have sooo many special memories with you and Grandma. My friends are so sad by our loss and send big kisses your way. The special time we all spent in Disneyland last year is a priceless treasure. I hope you are now at peace with Grandma and Mom (Gerri). Hope they have yummy home brew in heaven. My thoughts and prayers are with our whole family. I am blessed to have so many special cherished memories with you.
Love Always! Diana, David, Lauren and Trevor

My darling papa, I miss you so deeply. I'm glad you're with mom again in peace. Try not to drive her crazy.

I feel so blessed to have been your son, and I will always remember the good times we shared. I am ready, honored and humbled to take up the torch of the legacy you've left us. I pray I will continue to make you proud.

My heartfelt thanks to Dennis, Sandra and Phyllis for all they did for you in your last days. I am blessed to have such siblings.

Dad, if they have swap meets in heaven, be sure to stock up on VHS tapes - I'm sure they have a lot more movies in heaven than we do here on earth.

We will so miss grandpa's laughter, humor, sports on 7 tv's at once, always needing a beer in hand and the love he gave to everyone. There is comfort in knowing he is with Grandma Jo and Mom. We love you sooooo much!--Love, Carrie, Scott & Erin

I am so glad to have spent time with Dad on the Cruise after mom passed. We all had such a wonderful time, I will miss him. I especially want to thank Phyllis and Sandy for all they did to help Mom and Dad these last few years. We are all truly blessed to have such loving devoted family to take care of them when they were in need. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.
