Obituary Condolences

HANSOTTE, LOUIS BERNARD October 3, 1927 to July 28, 2012 Louis, 84, of San Diego, Ca., passed away peacefully on July 28, 2012 at Grossmont Hospital, and is now reunited with his loving wife Wilma Aileen Sleeper Hansotte in Heaven. Lou, to his friends, was born in Atlantic City, New Jersey on October 3, 1927. He graduated from Hollywood High School in California, and then went on to the U.S. Military Academy, West Point, NY, earning a B.S. in Engineering in 1950. Lou served his country honorably as a Captain in the U.S. Army in the Korean War. He graduated with an LLB from LaSalle University in 1961, and was admitted to the State Bar of California in 1962. He was an attorney in private practice until retirement in 1997, and also taught Business Law and Real Estate Law at Grossmont College and Cuyamaca College from 1969 to 1993, serving as the Real Estate Coordinator at Gross-mont College as well. Lou wrote several books, including "Legal Aspects of California Real Estate" and "Business Law, A Simplified Guide". Lou's accomplishments are documented in the "Who's Who of American Law 4th edition". Lou is survived by his children Beth and Jeff, and Jeff's wife Eileen. A Military Honors Service will be held at Fort Rosecrans National Cemetery on Friday, September 7, 2012, at 11:30 a.m. A celebration of life will follow at his son's home.
