Obituary Condolences

WHITE, MARSI KAY Marsi White passed away peacefully at home on Friday, July 13, 2012, at the young age of 40. She attended Valhalla High School and graduated from Sonoma State University. She leaves behind her devoted husband and best friend, Steve and their two children, Harrison and Madison, her father and mother (Steve and Claire Dale), and her brother and his wife (Darin and Kelly Dale), sister and brothers-in-law, aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and many friends. Marsi loved her family unconditionally. You would most likely find her watching soccer, baseball/softball games or a gymnastics meet cheering on her children. They liked to watch movies and play games together at home. Marsi loved Disneyland, cruising and family vacations. Her job at Rady Children's Hospital, as a grant writer for the Foundation, was not just work, but a passion where she really felt she was making a difference. Marsi was a warrior in her almost three year battle with breast cancer. She was admired by everyone who crossed her path for her strength, positive attitude and her beautiful smile. Her zest for life and devotion to family were evident in how she lived her life. She eloquently wrote her journey and it can be read at Private services will be held for family at El Camino Memorial Cemetery. An open invitation is extended to all friends for her Memorial Service to be held at Foothills Methodist Church in La Mesa on Saturday, July 28, at 11:30 a.m. with a Celebration of Life following. In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting donations to Rady Children's Hospital at 3020 Children's Way, MC5005, San Diego, CA 92123.
