ROMULO SARNO Sr. Obituary
SARNO SR., ROMULO Sept. 5, 1925 to Feb. 26, 2013 Romulo Sarno, Sr. was born in Imus, Cavite, Philippines and moved his family to San Diego in 1956. He served in the Navy for 22 years and retired as a Yeoman Chief Petty Officer. Son of Flaviano and Leonalla Tabing Sarno of Imus, Cavite, Philippines. Survived by his wife of 66 years, Placida Remorca Sarno, sons Romulo Jr. and Carlos, and daughters Pelcyida and Gladys and grandchildren, Analissa, David, Ben and Mia Christina. Romulo was as avid gardener and fisherman and enjoyed sharing his bounty with family and friends. Viewing will be at North-minster Presbyterian Church on March 2, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. Services will be on March 5th, at 10:00 a.m. at North-minster Presbyterian Church, followed by military honors at Miramar National Cemetery.
