SCOTT JONATHAN LABADIE Obituary
LABADIE, SCOTT JONATHAN December 30, 1953 to November 3, 2012 The family of Scott asks that you join us in wishing heartfelt fairwell to our brother. Scott was the sixth of seven children of MaryAnn and Edward S. Labadie, USN. He was born in San Diego and attended OLSH and St. Augustine High School, Saintsman Class of 1972 and Miramar College. Scott is remembered for his musical talent, wit and sense of humor. He played piano, organ, and accordian by ear. He could hear a song and play it. He loved classical music and old movies. Scott brightened our lives with his hysterical impersonations. He drove for San Diego Transit then Greyhound Bus Lines and was so proud to be a professional driver. Scott was an ardent supporter of human and labor rights. Scott retired in 1995 and moved to the High Desert Community of Landers, CA. He was honored with two caregiver of the year awards for compassion and help to the elderly. Scott passed away of a sudden heart condition. He is survived by siblings David, Elizabeth, Rick, Gail, twin to Gloria (deceased), Edward (Portland, OR.), Timothy (Cherri). Also nieces April, Melissa, Rachel, Aliza. Nephews Ronald, Robert, Bryon, DiAndre, Nolan. Also special friend Mike and a special dog "Scooter". Memorial service December 14, 2012 at 10 a.m., at Glen Abbey Memorial Park, Nature Garden, in Bonita, CA.
