Obituary Condolences

HAMMETT, SHARON DIANE (HIDDLESON) Sharon Diane Hammett (Hiddleson), 65 died February 12, 2012 at UCSD Thornton Hospital Sulpizio Cardiac Center following surgery for a sudden cardiac embolism. She was born to the late Fred and Lucille Hammett Sr., March 18, 1946 in Monroe, LA. Sharon resided in the Mission Hills community of San Diego for over 40 years beginning her real estate career at Park West Realty. Later she opened Realty Executives, Center City Associates and ERA Centre City Realty offices. She then joined Prudential California Realty as a Manager, and was a Loan Officer at First Advantage Financial, PMT Properties, and AAA Mortgage as an independent Senior Loan Officer and Realtor. Friends and colleagues said Sharon was a superb mentor, smart beyond her experience. Sharon loved her rescue dogs Amy and Rusty. She enjoyed traveling, book-stores, churches, skiing, scuba diving, food and painting. She was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star and an avid genealogist. Sharon is survived by two children: Shelly Hiddleson and Mark Hiddleson. She is also survived by her brother, Fred Hammett, of Ramona, CA, sister Joan Fleming, of Reno, NV, and many nieces and nephews. There will be a private family ceremony in Monroe LA.
